Day to Day Itinerary
Day -01: ARRIVAL – PARO meet our Bhutan agent at airport transfer to selected hotel in Paro.
Day-02: Sightseeing in Paro
The day begins with a visit to the ruins of DRUKGYAL DZONG (18 Km.). This Dzong is of historical importance, fro, whose ramparts the Bhutanese repelled Tibetan invaders. On a clear day, the 24,000 ft. white-domed peak of sacred CHOMOLHARI (Mountain of Goddess) looms overhead. After lunch at the hotel , visit TADZONG, the National museum housed in an ancient watchtower, which has a fine collection of ancient Thangkha paintings, textiles, weapons and artifacts. Overnight at hotel.
Day-03 : PARO – THIMPU
Morning scenic drive to Thimpu (2 hr.). Transfer to hotel. Afternoon, sight seeing to the MEMMORIAL CHOIRTEN of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck in the heart of Thimpu town, TASHICHHODZONG (the fortress of the Auspicious Religion). Overnight hotel.
Day-04 : PARO – EXCURSION TO TAKTSTANG LHAKANG
AM: After breakfast drive to SARTSHAM CHORTEN and then two hours of horse riding uphill will take you to the TAKTSANG MONASTERY. After refreshment, a short trek to the view point to witness a fascinating eye-level view of the famous TAKTSANG LHAKHANG also known as the tigersi nest. PM: After lunch a slow downhill trek to SARTSHAM CHORTEN and then drive to Hotel. Over night hotel.
Day-05 : PARO –DEPARTURE
After early breakfast, drive to airport for departure flight to your onward destination.

The following amounts are to be paid at Kathmandu and Bhutan airports-approximate charges:

ABOVE COST INCLUDES:
Two in sharing room in the best available accommodation mode (hotel or tourist cottage), all meals, overland transportation within Bhutan (Japanese vehicles), sight seeing as per itinerary with English speaking guide, necessary airport/hotel/airport transfers, cultural shows etc.


COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Airfare, air port taxes, BHUTAN VISA fee (USD 20 payable at airport upon arrival), NEPAL re-entry visa fee, drinks at hotels, lodges and expenses of personal nature such as laundry, tips, insurance, etc.

RESERVATIONS & VISA:
Booking should reach us at least 2 weeks in advance with all passport details with 25% of tour cost and full payment at least a month pri9or to the beginning of the tour for confirmed bookings. This is to avoid last minute hassles especially in the peak season APRIL & OCTOBER as the infrastructure in BHUTAN can handle only a limited number of tourists at a time. Only upon confirmation, we will process your BHUTAN visa.

CANCELLATION:
There will be a cancellation charge of 50% for confirmed bookings before 7days of trip departure. No refund thereafter even for NO SHOWS OR DELAYED ARRIVAL or whatsoever reason.
