Gosainkuna Lake
Gosainkunda lake is the holy lakes for Hindus, Gosainkunda (4,380), where pilgrims congregate on specfic days of the year wash off theri sins. It is situated at an altitude of 4,380 meters and cradled amidst craggy peaks. Thousands of people trek to this glacial lake every August. The trek passes through varied landscapes ranging from evergreen forest, cascading waterfalls and turbulent streams to alpine grass and barren mountainsides. Besides the famous Gosainkunda Lake, the other lakes in the neighborhood are Nagkunda, Bhairabkunda, Saraswatikunda and Surajkunda. Gosainkunda lies to the north-west of Helambu beyond a 4.602-meters high pass. However, the best approach to Gosainkunda is through Trishuli valley, 71 kilometers north-west of Kathmandu. Trishuli valley is linked with Kathmandu. by a motorable road.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day -01: Arrive International airport meet (NEAT) airport reprentative and transfer to selected hotel in Kathmandu.
Day-02:
Kathmandu sightseeing after breakfast:
Day-03 :
Drive by local bus from Kathamandu to starting point of trekking Dhunche (8/9 hours 170 km 1930 mtr.) stay over night at lodge.
Day-04 :
Trek to Syabru Village (6 hours 2560 mtr.) over night at lodge.
Day-05 : Trek to Lauribinayak (3993 mtr. 7 hours walking) over night at lodge.
Day-06 : Visit Gosainkund Lake (4230m 3 hrs.) explore around the lake after and back to Lauribinayak in the evening. over night at lodge.
Day-07 : Trek back to Dhunche via Chandan bari “Yak Cheese factory” (7 hours walking) over night at lodge.
Day-08 : Drive back to Kathmandu by public bus (8/9 hours driving) over night at hotel in own expenses.
Day 09: Shopping or personal activities in Kathmandu
Day-10 : Depart Kathmandu or explore Kathmandu by self.
