| Marsyangdi, "The Raging River": |
MARSYANGDI was opened to commercial rafting Only recently.
Literally meaning " The Raging River", this is
one of the next generations of rivers in Nepal: It is "solid
white" water from the very first day, steep and full
of long stretches of rapids. It includes a short hiking
tour of about two days in the beginning with great views
of the Manaslu and the Annapurna ahead of you the entire
time. Starting from Ngadi downstream to the end of the trip
to Bimalnagar, the rapids are steep, technical, and consecutive,
making the Marsyangdi a serious undertaking. Marsyangdi
is the best choice for people looking for a trip with a
lot of challenging whitewater and Great sceneries.
MARSYANGDI has some of the challenging rapids like the "Instant
Karma", "Morphine", "Mama's Big Butt",
" Kiwi Cupcake" and others. |

| Day
-01: |
We take a private bus to Besisahar, which takes
around 7/8 hours. First night camp in and around
Besisahar. |
| Day-02:
|
After
breakfast we start trekking for 2 hours to Khudi
- have lunch. Your expedition leader and guides
will brief you and train you. Pay attention as
you are straight into the rapids and this river
has a way of underlining any mistakes! This is
a the most knuckle gripping section of the Rivers
so enjoy it. We finish today at Besisahar and
have a well-earned dinner no doubt a rum punch
to help it down. |
| Day-03
: |
After
breakfast, we re-trace our steps to Khudi, and
go for the action. After lunch at Khudi, there
is action all the way so do not stop concentrating. |
| Day-04

After breakfast
we paddle down to Paundi where we encounter class
4/-5 rapids and plenty of grade 3. We also have
to portage couple of rapids like 'Knocking on
Heavens Door' and 'Golden Gate' This River allows
us to have magnificent views of the Annapurna

forget to look back and all around. It is quite
inspiring. |
| Day-05:

Today is the last
day of the trip after breakfast we paddle down
for around two and half-hour to Tutor have lunch
