Trisuli River Rafting

River Trisuli (Grade 3+) is one of the most popular Nepali rivers for rafting. Due to its proximity to Kathmandu and the easy road access. A river trip on Trishuli can also be combined with trips to Chitwan or Pokhara. For first-time rafters it offers plenty of excitement.

The river has some good rapids and scenery along with the main busy road connecting to Kathmandu. There are many fixed campsites, lodges, ranging from safari tents to deluxe rooms. There are also charming villages near by that you can explore after your rafting trip. Trisuli river also a good spot for fishing if you enjoy fishing.

Accommodation:	Safari tent
Meals:	Full board during rafting
Transportation:	Tourist bus/private car/local bus/private jeep
Best Season:	September-November & March-May

Day 1	Drive from Kathmandu to Malekhu, Raft to Majimtar Camp, approximately 23 km rafting, Overnight at camp on full board
Day 2	Raft from Majimtar Camp to Mugling and drive back to Kathmandu or Pokhara.

Cost include:-
Kathmandu to Starting point for rafting by tourist bus- End point of rafting
to Pokhara/Kathmandu by local bus, All the equipments, guide, light lunch etc.

Cost Exclude:-
Private transfer, Bar bills, personal expenses etc.

In some ways it is best to bring as little as possible to the river. There are however, some essential personal items that may need.

Please bring: -

• T-shirt
• Swim wear
• Warm clothing for the evenings including a fleece or a pullover
• Sunscreen and lip protector
• Sunglasses (with retaining device) and/or a cap
• Towel
• Toiletries (environmentally friendly is best) and any personal medication
• Flashlight
• Footwear
